Happy New Year everyone.

We finally got all the Christmas decorations put away, shovelled the snow, and finished almost all the cookies and chocolates. So it’s time to start a new year. Resolutions? Don’t even use the word, it has such a negative connotation.
Instead, just change up the regular season game plan a bit:

  1. 1. Eat well
  2. 2. Get enough rest
  3. 3. Drink plenty of fluids (not all alcoholic ones).

(It sounds so simple!)

For the New Year’s playoffs :

  1. 1. Hold your head up high.
  2. 2. Get out! It’s invigorating to face new challenges, even little ones.
  3. 3. Notice something beautiful each day – a sunrise, a child’s smile, a piece of music, a good deed.
  4. 4. Look out and not in. Open your arms wide and something wonderful will result.

We’ll do the same here, and in the meantime, we wish you the very best for the year - good health, good appetites, and much happiness.

Spring...
aahhh! Longer days, sunshine, warmth.

Those of us in northern climates stay outside as long as we can to enjoy the weather. Tulips and daffodils start to show, and we clean out our gardens to get rid of the last of last fall’s leaf fall (say that 10 times).
